The film “Battle of Algiers “was screened in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, which happily coincided with the commemoration of the Victory Day of March 19th. The audience unanimously agreed that the Algerian struggle for independence is a patern of liberation from all forms of colonialism, oppression and racial discrimination.
