On Tuesday March 29, 2022 and at the invitation of the Dutch National Archives, HE. Ambassador Salima ABDELHAK attended, along with Director General of National Archives, Mrs Afelonne DOEK, book-launch ceremony of the book dubbed «five years in Algiers. The journal of Thomas Hees 1675-1680 (former Dutch Consul to Algeria )», compiled by Mr Mehmet TÜTÜNCÜ, Mr Paul BROOD, Mr Gerard VAN KRIEKEN with contribution of Mrs Eveline SAINT NICHOLAS.

During the ceremony, Mrs the Ambassador listened to presentations given by some lecturers on the history of Algeria and its relations with the Republic of Holland and others Europeans states in that era and which date back to 4 centuries.

In her address, Ambassador thanked the co-authors and all participants as well as reviewed cooperation prospects between Algerian Archives and its counterpart in the Netherlands

At the end, the co-authors kindly offered her a sample of that book.
