The world is celebrating today on March 8th, International Women’s Day, to honour womanhood, their achievements, and their contribution in different fields of life. This is an auspicious day to pay tribute to women who have influenced our lives in some way, be it a mother, sister, daughter, cousin, colleague or friend.

Together with men, you have faced hardships with bravery and resilience. You have disarmed your problems through your smile. You have concealed your worries in your heart. You are a strong women indeed.

On this special occasion and as a woman myself, I wish a wonderful day to my dear female colleagues at Embassy, to the Algerian female nationals living in the Netherlands, to the Algerian and Dutch women and all women in the entire world. May you touch new heights of success…. may you compel the admiration of everyone with your professionalism, work, devotion and human virtues.
